I have to say; I HATE platitudes.

When anyone you know is facing any decision's in their life, we hand out platitudes. I know, I'm guilty of it too, but I do try not to be a hypocrite. There is nothing really, that anyone can say that will make things better or worse for what you may be experiencing.

Don't get me wrong, sometime, just hearing those silly well meant words, can help, but most often than not, then can't, and don't.

We are not in the other persons shoes, whether they are facing financial struggles, loss, job changes, family issues, ect... everyone deals with it differently. positively or negatively, and that is what determines the outcomes. One way or the other.

I struggle my self with a roller coaster of emotions over what may be right or wrong, and the bottom line is, we don't know. Hindsight is 20/20 they say.... *by the way, "who are they"

So then we get the well you should have, or you could have and the proverbial "beating yourself up" situation, and in all reality it's all BS.

When will people learn, that sometimes, it just is going to be what it is... whatever that may be, and we go from there and learn to accept what the choice was, and handle it,  Like the adults we are. Not like children who think in the abstract, who have no sense of what should be or could be.

The only thing we can do as human beings, is to show empathy and love. Just be there. We don't need words of wisdom, or judgment, we just need to be heard and understood. We need to feel supported.

Live and love people, live and love. Nothing is ever guaranteed.
Stand calm in the storm, it will pass

Peace out~
